Happy Father’s Day

I opened the last gift from Deb and the kids last night…. But I believe I’ve got the best wife and kids around.

I opened the last gift from Deb and the kids last night. It was a commentary on Revelation by G.K. Beale that I’ve been wanting for quite a while. I know, I’m a geek. But this is a cool, non-futurist commentary on Revelation. Or in Beale’s description, it’s a “Redemptive-Historical Form of Modified Idealism.” Coooooool!

Okay, okay, I’m a geek. But I believe I’ve got the best wife and kids around.

  1. I’m glad that you enjoyed the day we planned out. I was a little nervous that you would think it was more of a chore than a fun day, since you had to drive around so much. Thanks for getting into the spirit of fun. The kids and I loved planning and sneaking around for you. You do so much for us, that we are glad to be able to do something nice for you too. You are loved!
    Your best friend,
    Debbie

  2. What a great Father’s Day adventure!

We gave Stan CD’s of all his favorite Bob Dylan LP’s… When I spent the two weeks in April going through our “stuff” I discovered all these old tapes that had been made from the LP’s and thought, who has a cassette player any more? So I got onto Amazon and stocked up on some “memories” for him. Plus the book–A Dangerous Book for Boys.

Not Revelation, but hey, Stan’s not a geek.
