Wow! It’s been almost six months since my last post. My life has been full and I hope to begin posting again after Thanksgiving. But I found this wonderful animation created by animator Adam Brown and wanted to post it.

When I first read that someone tried to animate Calvin and Hobbes, I was fairly cynical. The magic of Bill Watterson’s creation was how he communicated through the medium of a comic. I would hate for it to be destroyed by turning it into a cartoon.

But I think Brown’s animation of Calvin and Hobbes dancing retains the magic of the storyboard.
