This morning, our first grandchild, Zachariah, was born!

Welcome to God’s good world, my sweet grandson! You have already captured my heart!

I want you to know that your mommy and daddy are some of the best people I’ve ever known and they will cherish, protect, and guide you. Seeing the overwhelming joy on their faces when they talk about you is priceless. They are so deeply and madly in love with you! And you have great grandparents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many others who are excited that you’re here and will always love you.

And most importantly, Jesus will always be with you, always love you, always teach you, and always lead you into a full life in his Father’s world and kingdom. He will show you the Father’s unfailing love, his inexhaustible resources, and his incredible call upon you as you grow.
